5. Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR applies, personal information is processed on one or more of the following legal bases:

Consent — for example, where you subscribe to marketing emails or consent to non-essential advertising or tracking technologies.

Contract or steps before entering a contract — where information is required to provide something you have purchased, respond to an application, arrange an appointment, or take steps you have requested before entering into an agreement.

Legal obligation — where information must be retained or processed to comply with tax, accounting or other legal requirements.

Legitimate interests — where reasonably necessary to operate, secure and administer the business, respond to communications or improve services, provided those interests do not override your rights and freedoms.

You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

6. Email marketing

If you subscribe to receive emails, your name, email address and relevant subscription information may be stored in the email and CRM system.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in those emails or by contacting [email protected].

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary communications relating to purchases, appointments, applications or services you have requested.

7. Applications

If you apply for Returning to Yourself or private work, the information you provide is reviewed personally by Juliane Staerk.

Applications are not accepted or rejected through automated decision-making.

Application information is used to understand your circumstances, communicate with you and determine whether the relevant experience or private work appears appropriate.

8. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers.

Current checkout options may include Stripe, card payments and supported payment-wallet options such as Google Pay or Amazon Pay.

Juliane Staerk does not directly store your complete payment-card details.

Payment providers process payment information according to their own privacy and security policies.

9. Service providers

To operate the website and services, information may be processed by third-party service providers where necessary.

These currently include or may include:

HighLevel / GoHighLevel — website and funnel hosting, CRM, forms, email communication, course delivery, applications and booking functionality.

Stripe and supported payment services — payment processing.

Google — Google Calendar and related appointment functionality.

Zoom — online calls and meetings.

Meta — advertising measurement and the Meta Pixel where you have consented to the relevant tracking technologies.

ALL-INKL — domain and email-related infrastructure.

WhatsApp and Telegram — where these are voluntarily used for direct client communication.

These providers process information in accordance with their respective roles and privacy terms.

HighLevel states that, when processing customer personal data on behalf of its customers, HighLevel acts as a processor and the customer acts as controller. GoHighLevel

10. International transfers

Some service providers are located outside Spain or the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States.

Where GDPR-protected personal information is transferred internationally, appropriate legal transfer mechanisms are used where required, such as European Commission adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

For example, HighLevel's current Data Processing Addendum provides for Standard Contractual Clauses and other lawful mechanisms for restricted international transfers. GoHighLevel

11. How long information is kept

Personal information is kept only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

In general:

Email subscribers: information is retained until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or the mailing list is otherwise cleaned or discontinued.

Applications and client communications: generally retained for up to two years after the relationship or relevant interaction ends, unless there is a reason to delete them earlier or a legal reason to retain them longer.

Purchase, invoice, payment and accounting information: retained for the period required under applicable tax, accounting and legal obligations.

Technical and cookie-related information: retained according to the purpose and duration of the relevant technology, as explained further in the Cookie Policy.

Information may be deleted or anonymised earlier where it is no longer required.

12. Zoom calls and recordings

Online calls may take place using Zoom.

Calls are not recorded without participants being informed beforehand.

If a session is to be recorded, participants will be informed before recording begins and any consent or other legal basis required for the recording will be obtained.

13. Cookies and advertising technologies

The website may use cookies and similar technologies necessary for the website to function.

It may also use non-essential technologies such as the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and analytics where you have provided the required consent.

Further information about these technologies, including how to accept, reject or withdraw consent, is provided in the Cookie Policy.

14. Your privacy rights

Where GDPR applies, you may have the right to:

  • obtain information about how your data is processed

  • access your personal data

  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information

  • request deletion of your personal data

  • request restriction of processing

  • object to certain processing, including direct marketing

No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

16. Third-party links
